Dr. Wenjing Li is a Lillian Gilbreth Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, co-advised by Dr. Yan Gu and Dr. Shaoshuai Mou (AAE). She received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2018, and her M.S. in Computational Science and Engineering and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2025.
Dr. Li's research interests lie at the intersection of design, control, and learning for intelligent robotic systems. Her doctoral work focused on field-based methods for the design and control of elastic actuation systems. Her current research explores learning and control methods for human-autonomy interaction. Dr. Li is the recipient of the Cummins Wei-Tze Lin Scholarship and the National Scholarship at HUST, as well as the 2024 Ph.D. Research Excellence Award and the 2025 Best Graduate Teaching Assistant Award at Georgia Tech. Her works were recognized as finalists for the Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE/ASME International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics in 2021 and 2023. |
